Tissue Box Craft: Making a Carwash/ Gas station

This craft took my 3 year old son and I less than 10 minutes to complete and he had great fun playing with it.

Materials:

Tissue Box, Glue, Scissors, Marker, Toilet Roll, Coloured Paper

Method:

1) Start with an empty Tissue Box and decorate the box or cover it with coloured paper

2) Cut a large rectangular hole at the front (car entrance)

3) Cut a small rectangular hole at the back (car exit)

4) Cut strips on a rectangular piece of paper, leaving about 1 inch at the top

5) Glue the un-cut (1 inch strip) paper inside the Tissue box

6) Stick the toilet roll to the side of the Tissue Box (filling petrol)

Finished product!

  1. I love the fringe you made out of paper to create the carwash effect! Very simple and so effective! He would have so much fun playing with that!
