DIY No Sew Distressed Jeans

These took me about 15 mins to makeover and I love them!

What you need:

  • A pair of jeans
  • A seam ripper (aka a quick unpick)
  • Fray stopper
  • Pen, pencil or dress makers chalk

What to do:

Try on jeans. Work out wear you would like to add some frayed texture and mark with a pen or pencil.

Use seam ripper to create a hole in the middle of your line.

Work from the centre out wards and repeat for other side. Repeat for all markings.

Pull, adjust frayed edges to suit your preference.

Using fray stopper like glue, add to edges to prevent further tearing. This will also help tear keep its original shape and it will be safe for washing.

Fold up the cuffs and you’re ready to step out in chic style!

If you’d prefer not to show any skin through your rips and tears purchase a repair kit and iron on fabric on wrong side of jeans.
