Sang choy bow is a tasty recipe the whole family will enjoy. Ready in 20 minutes!
Sang Choy Bow
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 400 g minced beef/pork
- 2 teaspoon crushed garlic
- 1/2 cup diced red capsicum
- 2 sticks celery diced
- 100 g mushrooms coarsely chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce to taste
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce to taste
- 1 iceberg lettuce leaves separated.
- Crushed cashew nuts
Instructions
- Heat oil in pan, add garlic and meat.
- Once meat has browned, add mushrooms, celery and capsicum. Add sauces and stir fry until vegetables are at desired softness.
- Place lettuce leaves on plates, do you best to retain the cup like shape of leaves. Place meat inside the lettuce cup. Serve with crushed cashew nuts on top.
Notes
As an alternative to cashew nuts try pine nuts and chopped up silvered almonds mixed through.
