Vegetarian Noodles with Sweet Soy Sauce

A very simple and tasty asian noodle dish. Add your own beef/ chicken as desired.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 packets instant MAGGI noodles
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup cooked peas
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • 1 Tbs oil
  • 4 Tbs ABC sauce sweet soy sauce
  • 3 Tbs sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 Tsp seasme oil
  • 2 large tomatoes sliced

Method
 

  1. Cook the instant noodles in boiling water until just cooked. Set aside.
  2. Add the oil to a wok and cook the onion until slightly browned. Crack the eggs into the wok and scramble until just cooked.
  3. Add the noodles, peas, ABC sauce, chilli sauce and sesame oil to the wok and mix together on low heat for another 1 minute (stir gently so the noodles do not break apart).
  4. Transfer to a serving dish. Place sliced tomatoes on top of the noodles and serve immediately.

Notes

I like to sprinkle some fried onions on top of the noodles just before serving, as it adds a nice crunch to the dish.
Add stir fried chicken/ beef if desired.
