Hot Fudge Sauce

Oh so dedacant, delicious and ready in minutes! The perfect topping!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 x 400g can sweetened condensed skim milk
  • 100 g good-quality dark cooking chocolate broken into squares
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence

Instructions
 

  • Place the condensed milk and chocolate in a microwave safe bowl and mircowave on high for 2-3 minutes. Check after every minute, stirring with a metal spoon to ensure mixture does not burn.
  • Remove fudge sauce from heat and set aside.

Notes

I used this sauce for icecream topping, pancake topping and icing for a cake.
Avoid using milk chocolate as the mixture becomes too sweet.
