This is an easy craft that will add a touch of vintage to your wardrobe and makes a great gift for the woman who has everything.
You will need:
- Coat hangers
- Fabric
- Lace
- Bias binding
- Sewing machine
What to do:
Trace around coat hanger. This will be your template. (Or use ours below)
Cut out template and lay onto your fabric. Cut two pieces.
Pin right sides together and sew side edges.
Attach bias binding top as pictured.
You may find it easier to hand sew this step.
Fold over and sew in place.
Hem bottom edge.
Turn right side out and pin lace to the bottom edge. Sew in place.
You are limited here only by your creativity and can use whatever fabrics, laces and trims you prefer.
