After a few days of fun, but busy activities, settling down with the Christmas story and a simple colouring activity is a nice way to prepare for Christmas.
You will need:
- A Christmas story book or picture Bible
- A picture of the Nativity for colouring
- Pencils
What to do:
Read/share the Christmas story with your children. Encourage any questions they might have and help them to focus on the birth of Jesus in the stable.
Give your children a picture of the Nativity to colour in. Set aside or display when finished. This colouring in sheet will be joined by others throughout Advent so that at its conclusion your children will have created their own Christmas story book.
