Rosary Flip Book

For quite a while I’ve been on the hunt for a book for praying the Rosary, with pictures and biblical meditations. For some reason I haven’t come across a book that actually has a picture for each mystery or a biblical reflection beyond a single short quote. So
I decided to make a ‘flip book’ of the Rosary. I found pictures online, and wrote paragraph meditations, predominately direct quotes from the bible. I am really happy with how it turned out. It can sit on our prayer table to be read and viewed by all during our prayer time.

I searched on google for some high resolution images and I found some at this website.

I created a printable of the booklet which you can download free by clicking the buttons below, Make sure you download both No.1 and No.2
(It was a larger file, so I have split it into 2 parts) Also just a note – each pdf is in no particular order.

Example pages below. Printed on an A4 sheet you will have two A5 pages.

Finished Product.

If you would like to make your own here is what you need:

-FREE Rosary PDF Printable – No.1 and No.2
-Scissors
-Laminator (optional)
-A4 or A5 Lamination sheets (optional: but more durable with kids!)
-Hole punch
-Two curtain rings (I bought mine on eBay)
-Long piece of thick cardboard

  1. Print out your PDFs. I didn’t have any printer ink or high res paper on hand so I got mine printed through officeworks online, on a gloss paper 210gsm which cost $12 + postage.
  2. Once you have your print outs, cut them down the middle and trim sides so the white strip is the same width either side.

  3. Place inside A4 lamination slip, leaving enough space between them to cut down the middle. OR Laminate each in an A5 slip!
  4. Laminate all pages. Cut down the middle of each.

  5. Hole punch the tops of your pages.
  6. Lay your cardboard out flat. It should be approx. 515mm in Length and 145mm wide. According to the image below, score the cardboard with some scissors to create fold lines, an A5’s length from each end (210mm).  This will be folded to create base of the flip book. Hole punch as per below image.

  7. Place your pages in correct order, with title pages in front of each mystery. It should be; Front cover, Joyful Mysteries, Luminous Mysteries, Sorrowful Mysteries, Glorious Mysteries, Back cover.

  8. Using your curtain rings, feed them through your pages and cardboard holder.

  9. Set your Rosary Flip Book up and Pray the Rosary! 😉

My cardboard couldn’t handle the demands of family life lol so I picked up a book stand/tablet holder from Kmart for $10 see below. Fits perfectly! 🙂
