Do you want to learn how to make a Chevron Scarf in 1 hour?
These lovely scarves are soft, practical and stylish and what’s more, the style means you wont get it caught up in anything!
You will need
- 40cm of fabric 150cm wide (I purchased a chevron pattern in a mink/jersey blend that was 147cm wide)
- Coordinating thread
- Sewing machine
- Scissors
- Dressmaking pins
What to do
1. Fold your fabric in half along the long edge, right sides together. Pin.
2. Sew along edge. Turn right side out. Line up the two seams and pin right sides together.
3. To sew this seam use the sewing machine and leave a gap of about 5cm.
4. Pin gap together and slip stitch closed.
Press scarf so that long seam is in the middle on the underside.
