A few years ago we started a tradition on Good Friday that reached its climax on Easter Sunday morning that is a simple and beautiful way to celebrate the death and resurrection of Our Lord. It’s a simple activity we now recreate with a wooden Easter set but you can make your own with a few household supplies!
What you need:
- Toilet rolls
- DIY Resurrection Set downloads from Catholic Icing here
What to do:
Make the Resurrection as per the instructions on Catholic Icing.
On Good Friday re-enact crucifixion with visual aids and close tomb.
Open tomb before children get up on Easter morning and place the risen Jesus somewhere in the house for them to find when they wake up.
