Faith In The Family: A Handbook For Parents – Book Review

The authors provide ‘Points to Ponder’ for each topic as well as useful suggestions for activities and practical application in family life.

The questions were asked by children aged between seven and eleven but resemble those asked by children of all ages.  The authors drew on their experience in the parish-based Faith in the Family course at the Holy Ghost Church and School in Balham, London.

This book will help parents to live and pass on the Catholic Faith within their families in a lively and practical way and give them confidence to answer the numerous and often challenging faith-related questions that children ask.  The authors make the point that “it’s not about always, instantly supplying the correct answers, but about having the courage to try, as a part of normal, everyday conversation.”
