Easy Saint Mary MacKillop Craft

Saint Mary of the Cross was the first Australian to be canonised and holds a special place in our hearts. Her approach: “Never see a need without doing something about it” is one that both inspires and calls us to action, to charity.

As the patron of both my diocese, and my children’s school, the person of Mary MacKillop is someone I often pause to think about. And when I knew that her feast day was coming up, I went looking for a simple craft I could make at home with my children, and take along to playgroup.

I didn’t find anything so I made my own, and it’s so quick and easy that you can make it at home with your children too!

You will need:
