Double Choc Mint Slice
An irresistibly dedacant Chocolate Peppemint Slice filled with crushed mint biscuits and mint cream chocolate. Easy to make and so pretty to serve!
Ingredients
- 200 g arrowroot/ plain biscuits crushed
- 1 packet mint slice biscuis chop each biscuit into 6 pieces
- 100 g mint filled chocolate chopped
- 1 can condensed milk
- 250 g white chocolate melted
- Green food colouring
Instructions
- Line a lamington/ slice pan with baking paper. In a large bowl, place all the biscuits and mint chocolate. Add the condensed milk and mix well until mixture is thoroughly combined.
- Press mixture firmly into the lined pan using the back of an oiled spatula (this prevents the mixture from sticking).
- Divide white chocolate into 2 bowls; approx 1/3 of the mixture into one bowl and the remaining in another bowl. Add a couple of drops of the food colouring into the bowl with 1/3 of the chocolate and mix well until satisfied with the colour. Set aside.
- Pour the white chocolate in a zig zag motion up and down over the slice; you do not need to cover all the slice. Pour the remaining green coloured chocolate over the gaps of the slice.
- Using a skewer, swirl the chocolate combining the two colours.
- Place in the fridge for approx 5-10 minutes. Take slice out of the fridge but leave it in the pan. Cut into serving size pieces using a sharp knife. (I dipped my knife into very hot water and dried it off before cutting each horizontal and vertical line).
- Place slice back in the fridge, covered with foil for approx another 2 hours until set. Enjoy!
