Butterscotch Melts, melt in your mouth, simple and easy recipe!
Butterscotch Melts
Ingredients
- Canola spray
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons soft brown sugar
- 3/4 cup self-raising flour
- 1/4 cup custard powder
- 1 packet choc bits
Instructions
- Preheat Oven 180oC. Greese ovenproof trays.
- Using electric beaters, beat butter and sugar in mixing bowl until mixture is light and creamy.
- Sift flour and custard powder over mixture and combine with wooden spoon.
- Take one teaspoon of mixture and gently roll into a ball and place on tray, repeat with remaining mixture and make room for spreading.
- Flatten each ball slightly with fork. Bake for 15 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown. Let them cool on trays.
- To decorate the biscuits, melt a packet of choc bits in microwave, becareful not burn them, and dip half of each biscuit in the chocolate
